MedSky Airways is a Libyan Airline and AFRAA member. Formed in 2021, with the vision to set the internationally recognised standard of operations.
To achieve this whilst all Libyan operators remain on the European Commission Air Safety List, MedSky partnered with Malta MedAir, a proven Maltese ACMI airline, Ad Astra Consulting Ltd, European Aviation Consulting Ltd and 3Plex Malta, to create the means of delivering the vision
MedSky is the only Libyan airline operating to Europe, with flights to Malta, Rome & Milan, Italy, Madrid, Spain, and Athens, Greece. Our next step is developing better Africa-Europe connectivity.
We aim to offer these proven solutions and services to our colleagues in AFRAA.

MALTA MEDAIR SERVICES
Capability for operational agreements of client aircraft on their EU AOC, ACMI services, crew training
Malta MedAir (registered under the name of Malta Air Travel Ltd). The company was set up and duly registered on the 10th January 2018 with full ownership by the Maltese Government.
The airline flies under a Maltese AOC and is set to provide a range of services to aviation and non-aviation business customers in Europe and beyond.
We have had successful registrations as IOSA for the last 6 years and have a valid certificate till 2027, with the intention of renewing every two years.
We can add your aircraft to our AOC and operate it for you under an operational agreement to open new markets. Also, provision of ACMI services.

The MedSky Project is the first airline to operate from Libya to Europe, with an operating agreement on our EASA AOC. Successfully implemented since 2022.

EXAMPLE PROJECTS
Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) services. We help operators maintain full compliance with airworthiness directives, technical records, and maintenance planning — ensuring safety, reliability, and minimal operational disruption.
EASA, Aruba, Cayman Islands, and Guernsey (2-REG) approvals.
Multi-certification Part-145. We deliver trusted MRO, AOG, and engineering services for operators and lessors who demand consistent reliability and regulatory confidence. EASA, Aruba, Cayman Islands, Guernsey (2-REG).
Approved Maintenance Training Organisation. In compliance with Section A of Annex IV (Part-147) of Regulation (EU) No 1321/2014, providing aircraft type training and other supplemental training courses.
EASA Part 21J. We provide approved data and certification for minor changes and repairs to cabin interiors (including cargo compartments and electrical cabin systems) and external liveries, on both CS 23 (Small) and CS 25 (Large) aircraft
